My career path

After one year of sales experience in agribusiness in the United States, I joined Page Personnel in Neuilly-sur-Seine in April 2010 as a consultant within the Commercial & Marketing division. I progressed rapidly on the management track: Manager then Executive Manager. At the start of 2015, I expressed the wish to work at the international level. PageGroup offered me the chance to move to the Swiss office in Lausanne. I was promoted to Director in 2018 and joined the Board of Switzerland in 2020.

My position

I am in charge of the Sales & Marketing, Office and Management Support and Finance division of the Lausanne office. I am now directing the entire office with a team of 20+ consultants.

My tasks

  • Managing a team of several consultants/managers: recruitment, training, guidance, improving the skills of the team (in expertise and leadership), career development
  • Representing Michael Page as a full-service provider and regularly taking part in networking events
  • Recruitment tasks: managing the recruitment process from A to Z, up to the final placement
  • Business development and defining a business strategy: identification, prospecting and customer retention
  • Key Account Manager of clients at the national level
  • Management of a profit centre and its economic viability
  • Project management, on-going improvement of procedures and developing the inter-brand/division synergies

My advice

Joining PageGroup is a real career opportunity thanks to the training offered and possibilities for development (various career paths, international mobility, and within the specific brands.) PageGroup is a meritocratic company that allows you to take the initiative, and take on responsibility for your own business. Your sales skills will help you to meet and exceed the objectives. With the support of your managers, you can grow at your own pace. For this, you must like working in a team, and be willing to learn, grow, and question yourself. The profession has a good rythm: regularity, organisation, management of priorities and resilience are key qualities for success.
