Zurich, Wednesday, 25 October 2017. According to the Michael Page Swiss Job Index monthly advertised job vacancies grew by 2.0% between September and October 2017 across Switzerland. Year-to-date growth (January to October 2017) was 24.2%. The Swiss Romande showed the greatest increase in advertised vacancies (+8.5%) in October. This is on top of a growth of +13.1% in September. Advertised job vacancies in the German speaking Switzerland stayed relatively stable (+0.9%).

The regions with the greatest growth were Lake Geneva (+9.7%) and the Mid-region (+4.9%).

Growth was especially strong in advertised jobs for logistics, export and purchasing specialists, risk managers, investment bankers and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) specialists.
