After my graduation as an engineer in the agribusiness with specialization in business development I decided to start my career abroad working in my sector. For personal reasons I decided to move back to Switzerland. Looking for a job I sent my CV to Page Personnel. I was invited for an interview in Lausanne and offered the position as a consultant in the division for Engineering and Technicians.

What skills from your background in Engineering helped with your transition into recruitment?
My background is useful every day. I do have a better understanding of our clients needs, connect with our candidates and can use my knowledge of the market. Being rigorous helps me to build long lasting relationships.
What advice would you give someone with an Engineering background who wanted a job in recruitment?
Consider if you could manage the resilience to sell a service more than a product. It is a great opportunity to stop working on the technical side and at the same time develop new personal skills.
