Job Description



Funding Request Review & Due Diligence

  • Lead due diligence and quality assurance processes for funding requests to ensure compliance with eligibility and operational requirements.
  • Review and assess a high volume of funding submissions across the funding cycle, identifying risks, gaps, and compliance issues and escalating where necessary.
  • Coordinate closely with country and technical teams to ensure completeness, consistency, and readiness of submissions prior to review and approval stages.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date datasets, databases, and analytical outputs related to funding requests.



Grant Review & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct pre‑submission readiness reviews for a large portfolio of grants, ensuring high‑quality documentation and compliance ahead of approval committees.
  • Document key findings, follow up on corrective actions, and confirm resolution before final submission.
  • Ensure alignment with operational policies, approval guidelines, and internal procedures.
  • Support reporting and analysis related to grant portfolios and funding allocations.



Governance, Review Committees & Coordination

  • Support end‑to‑end coordination of funding and grant review cycles, including planning review windows, meetings, and governance processes.
  • Contribute to the preparation of agendas, briefing materials, dashboards, and presentations to support decision‑making.
  • Liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective review processes.
  • Support analytical work related to portfolio optimization and investment decision‑making.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in public health, international affairs, economics, business, law, social sciences, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Experience in operations, grants management, funding mechanisms, compliance, or international development programs.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex workflows and tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with processes, data, and cross‑functional stakeholders in a structured, policy‑driven environment.
  • Solid communication skills and a collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages (French, Spanish, Russian, or others) are an asset.
