Zurich/Geneva, 21 May 2026. According to the latest Talent Trends 2026 Switzerland report by Michael Page, artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming hiring at pace — but candidates are adopting it significantly faster than employers. According to the study, 86% of Swiss jobseekers use AI in their job search, compared to 69% of employers using AI in recruitment processes. However, only 39% of employers say AI-assisted applications make them more likely to hire, highlighting a growing disconnect. “AI hasn’t rewritten the rules of recruitment — but it has changed the pace,” says Yannick Coulange, Managing Director of PageGroup Switzerland. “Candidates have already adapted; recruitment processes are still catching up.”
