Our client is a international organization based in Geneva.

As part of a temporary reinforcement of its Market Shaping, Partnerships & Innovation activities, the organization is seeking an Associate Specialist, Strategy & Partnerships to support the delivery of strategic initiatives and partnerships.

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Market Shaping & Partnerships, the Associate Specialist will support the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic interventions, working closely with internal teams and a broad range of external partners.

This role combines partnership strategy, strategic coordination and project management, within a complex and highly exposed international environment.Partnership Strategy & Management

  • Support the mapping of key external partners relevant to market shaping initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of partnership strategies, engagement plans and joint workplans
  • Monitor progress against agreed partnership objectives and report on results
  • Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks and mitigation actions in coordination with the Manager



Strategic Coordination & Communications

  • Coordinate and contribute to briefing notes, presentations and talking points for senior leadership and external partners
  • Support annual workplan development and strategic priority‑setting processes
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops and partner engagements, working with internal and external stakeholders



Strategic Initiative Project Management

  • Lead day‑to‑day project management for a major strategic initiative, including workplans, timelines and deliverables
  • Coordinate internal and external reporting, producing high‑quality analyses, narratives and visuals
  • Identify and escalate implementation risks and contribute to mitigation strategies



The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in business administration, strategy, global health, international relations or a related field
  • Proven experience in strategy, partnerships, project management or consulting roles
  • Exposure to international organizations, global health institutions or multilateral environments
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination
  • Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for senior audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast‑paced environment



Background in management consulting or advisory roles is a strong asset.

Languages

  • Fluent English required
  • French is an asset; additional languages are a plus
