We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support the coordination, implementation and transition of a complex international funding portfolio. The successful candidate will oversee partner relationships, grant administration, stakeholder engagement and programme planning while ensuring the timely delivery of strategic objectives.

Job Description



Programme & Partner Management

  • Coordinate a portfolio of funded projects and partnerships.
  • Monitor progress against agreed deliverables, budgets and timelines.
  • Support partners in meeting contractual, financial and reporting obligations.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensure appropriate governance and compliance throughout programme implementation.



Grant Operations & Procurement

  • Support the management of funding processes, including partner selection and onboarding.
  • Coordinate due diligence, contracting and approval workflows.
  • Monitor programme expenditures and facilitate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Liaise with internal functions to ensure smooth operational delivery.



Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, prepare briefing materials and document key decisions.
  • Facilitate collaboration between programme teams, partners, consultants and funders.
  • Communicate programme progress, risks and achievements to relevant audiences.



Monitoring, Learning & Reporting

  • Support the collection and analysis of programme results and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to the development of recommendations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate programme documentation and reporting records.
  • Prepare transition and handover materials as required.

The Successful Applicant



Education

  • University degree in International Relations, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.



Experience

  • Proven experience managing complex programmes, projects or funding portfolios.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, procurement activities and external partnerships.
  • Exposure to international organizations, NGOs, multilateral environments or donor-funded programmes is highly desirable.
