Job Description

  • Develop firmware for RF modules powering keyboards, mice, and receivers.
  • Contribute to new product development and continuous evolution of existing platforms.
  • Design, implement, and integrate firmware interfaces in partnership with software experts.
  • Validate and test production‑ready firmware, including automated test creation.
  • Prototype concepts and showcase technical ideas to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multi‑site teams across Switzerland, the US, Taiwan, and India.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex embedded and RF issues.
  • Produce clear, structured, and reliable technical documentation.
  • Contribute to agile development practices and code reviews.
  • Support knowledge transfer from senior RF and firmware experts.
  • Act as a technical leader within the team, guiding architectural decisions.



The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in firmware engineering within product development.
  • Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ with solid debugging and testing skills.
  • Experience with ARM Cortex-M firmware development.
  • Knowledge of Zephyr RTOS (ideal) or embedded Linux / Yocto.
  • Demonstrated interest or aptitude in RF, wireless protocols, or radio firmware.
  • Experience in Bluetooth or bidirectional RF HID devices is an asset.
  • Ability to mentor, collaborate, and contribute to technical decision‑making.
  • Familiarity with scripting, unit testing, and agile development practices.
  • Comfortable working in hybrid mode with 50-60% onsite presence (mandatory Tue-Thu).
  • Fluent spoken and written English; French is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Communication Systems.
