Our client is a well-established non-profit organisation based in Geneva, dedicated to supporting philanthropic initiatives and managing charitable projects with an international reach.

Job Description



Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the administration and day-to-day coordination of a portfolio of philanthropic projects and funds, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the operational and administrative activities of a portfolio of philanthropic funds and projects;
  • Coordinating governance bodies, steering committees and relevant stakeholders, including meeting preparation, minute taking and follow-up actions;
  • Overseeing the grant-making process, including due diligence reviews, contract preparation, payments and reporting follow-up;
  • Coordinating external experts, consultants and project contributors when required;
  • Monitoring budgets, financial commitments and cash flow related to assigned funds and projects;
  • Ensuring the smooth running of funded activities through regular interaction with donors and stakeholders;
  • Supporting the establishment and implementation of new philanthropic initiatives and projects;
  • Contributing to organisational development projects, process improvements and the implementation of new tools and services;
  • Using CRM, ERP and Microsoft-based digital tools to support project administration and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree or equivalent qualification;
  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience in project, programme or operational administration, including budget monitoring responsibilities;
  • Experience within a foundation, non-profit organisation, SME or similar environment is advantageous;
  • Excellent command of both French and English, written and spoken; additional languages, particularly German, are a strong asset;
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills;
  • Excellent communication, drafting and presentation abilities;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with structure and attention to detail;
  • Analytical mindset, strong organisational skills and comfort working with financial data;
  • Proactive, autonomous and solutions-oriented approach.
