To support a strategic programme, our client is seeking an experienced Market Shaping Portfolio Manager to drive stakeholder engagement, project execution and market intelligence activities.

Job Description



Reporting to senior programme leadership, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of market-shaping strategies, engaging with industry partners and coordinating activities across a complex ecosystem of stakeholders.

This position combines market analysis, strategic partnerships, project management, governance support and commercial engagement within an international and fast-moving environment.

Market & Portfolio Analysis

  • Conduct market and portfolio assessments to support strategic decision-making
  • Analyse industry trends, product landscapes and supplier capabilities
  • Develop recommendations based on operational, commercial and strategic considerations



Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Engage with manufacturers, industry partners and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate consultations, meetings and working groups
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across a diverse stakeholder ecosystem



Programme & Project Management

  • Coordinate complex workstreams and ensure alignment across teams
  • Monitor progress, risks, timelines and key deliverables
  • Support implementation of strategic initiatives and drive execution



Governance & Executive Support

  • Prepare executive presentations, briefing materials and governance documentation
  • Support committees and decision-making forums through high-quality analysis and recommendations
  • Ensure effective communication of strategic priorities and outcomes



Contract & Portfolio Oversight

  • Support negotiation processes and implementation follow-up
  • Monitor contractual commitments, milestones and associated risks
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery

The Successful Applicant



  • Advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health or a related field


  • Significant experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or life sciences sector


  • Strong exposure to market access, market shaping, strategic partnerships or portfolio management


  • Experience operating in an international and multi-stakeholder environment


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Strong project management and coordination capabilities


  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and external partners


  • Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills


  • Fluent English required
