The Procurement Officer will manage end-to-end procurement and contract activities, with a strong focus on IT, cloud and security-related services. The role requires someone operational from day one, able to manage stakeholders and ensure continuity during a temporary assignment.

About Our Client

Our client is a large international organisation based in Geneva, operating in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes (tendering, evaluation, award)
  • Handle contract management throughout the lifecycle (renewals, amendments, performance monitoring)
  • Lead procurement of IT services, including cloud and security-related contracts
  • Support and advise internal stakeholders (including IT/CTO teams) on procurement strategy
  • Conduct supplier negotiations and ensure compliance with procurement rules
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting within procurement systems
  • Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance
  • Support ongoing digital and innovation projects, including AI-related initiatives



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement (ideally 5-8 years)
  • Mandatory experience in public procurement
  • Strong exposure to IT services procurement (cloud is a strong advantage)
  • Proven experience in contract management and supplier negotiations
  • Ability to be autonomous and quickly operational
  • Fluent English (C1 minimum) is mandatory; French is a strong asset
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior IT leadership
