We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, an International Events Security Specialist to support the delivery of high-profile global events over a 12-month fixed-term engagement.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the secure planning and execution of international events involving senior stakeholders across multiple sectors.

Job Description

As part of the international events team, you will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of security measures across a diverse portfolio of global events of varying scale and complexity.

The role combines operational planning (approximately 80%) with on-site event support (approximately 20%), ensuring security considerations are fully embedded throughout the event lifecycle.

  • Support the development and execution of security plans for international events
  • Assist in the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and operational security concepts
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, service providers, and local authorities
  • Manage security-related administrative processes, documentation, and planning tools
  • Contribute to the on-site coordination and delivery of security operations during events
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment across all stakeholders



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field
  • Previous experience in event security, operations, or risk management within international or complex environments
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work in multicultural, collaborative environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (French and/or German) are an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
