Our client is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join their People team on a fixed-term basis.The successful candidate will bring strong employee relations expertise, sound judgement, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. This is a role for 7 months.

Job Description



Employee Relations & Investigations

  • Manage complex employee relations cases from initial assessment through to resolution.
  • Lead workplace investigations, employee interviews, fact-finding activities and risk assessments.
  • Provide expert guidance on disciplinary matters, grievances, workplace conduct and performance-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and HR best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation.



Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on sensitive people matters.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership and key business stakeholders to navigate complex situations.
  • Provide pragmatic and commercially balanced recommendations while managing legal and reputational risks.



Mediation & Conflict Resolution

  • Facilitate difficult conversations and conflict resolution processes.
  • Support leaders in fostering positive and productive working relationships.
  • Drive fair, consistent and equitable outcomes across the organisation.



Organisational Change Support

  • Provide employee relations expertise during transformation initiatives and organisational changes.
  • Support workforce-related projects requiring careful stakeholder management and risk mitigation.
  • Help leaders manage employee impact throughout periods of change.



People Partnering

  • Provide flexibleHR supportacross abroad rangeoftopicsincluding:
    • Leadership coaching
    • Talent discussions
    • Employee development
    • Workforce planning
    • Team effectiveness
    • HR policy application



Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse employee relations trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations to strengthen employee experience and people practices.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of HR processes, governance and risk management frameworks.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8 years' experience within Employee Relations, HR Business Partnering or a related HR function.
  • Proven track record managing complex employee relations matters and investigations.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders in international and matrix organisations.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and employee relations best practices.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving and evolving environment.

Education

  • Degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or related field.
  • Advanced HR qualification or postgraduate degree is advantageous.
  • Professional HR certifications are considered a plus.
