About Our Client

Our client is a respected international organization based in Basel. As part of its Human Resources function, the organization is looking for an experienced HR professional to support the delivery and continuous enhancement of talent management initiatives during a maternity leave replacement.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic people development programs.

Job Description

  • Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of talent development initiatives, leadership programs, mentoring activities, and digital learning solutions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers regarding talent management-related questions and processes.
  • Support the administration, communication, deployment, and monitoring of employee engagement surveys and related feedback initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance HR-related intranet content to increase awareness and participation in development programs.
  • Monitor market trends and benchmark external talent management practices to support future program evolution.
  • Contribute to the design and communication of learning, leadership, mobility, and career development initiatives.
  • Oversee the training budget, track expenditures, and prepare regular reporting on financial commitments.
  • Coordinate external providers including trainers, coaches, and facilitators, ensuring smooth management of procurement and payment processes.
  • Assist with vendor contracts, performance reviews, and ongoing supplier relationships.
  • Provide operational and project support to the Talent Manager across key HR cycles and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency within talent management activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Human Resources or in a role closely supporting HR operations and people processes.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven exposure to talent management, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement, or related HR disciplines.
  • Experience coordinating projects, programs, or complex administrative processes from planning through execution.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, digital learning platforms, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Comfortable managing budgets, reporting activities, and external service providers.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work with data and reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, Business Objects, or similar platforms.
  • Previous experience in international and multicultural environments is required.
  • Exposure to international organizations, financial institutions, or similar complex environments would be advantageous.
