Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as deputy to the Head of Department
  • Supervise and support two team members
  • Oversee and control securities operations
  • Execute, book, and monitor fund transactions (including mutual funds, alternative funds, real estate funds, and private equity)
  • Instruct and monitor corporate actions for non-listed securities
  • Calculate, review, and validate securities valuations
  • Perform reconciliations of securities positions
  • Act as first point of contact for AML/KYC-related requests
  • Liaise with counterparties, custodians, and external providers
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficiency enhancements
  • Serve as a key contact for Front Office operational queries and ensure timely resolution
  • Support project initiatives, including requirements gathering and in-depth analysis
  • Develop, maintain, and improve operational procedures



The Successful Applicant

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Swiss banking sector, ideally with exposure to international environments in middle or back office roles
  • University degree or completed Swiss apprenticeship
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Solid understanding of banking operations and processes
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and interest in reconciliations
  • Advanced Excel skills; VBA knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience managing Front Office requests under time constraints
  • Knowledge of banking systems (e.g., securities platforms) is a plus; S2i as well
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are an asset
  • Swiss residency mandatory
