Job Description

This is a broad HR role combining hands-on site responsibilities with exposure to international and Group-level HR initiatives.

Site HR Management - approx. 50%

As the HR lead for the production site, you will manage the full employee lifecycle and provide operational HR support to managers and employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main HR point of contact for the site and partnering closely with the Site Manager and local leadership team.
  • Managing day-to-day HR activities across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, development and offboarding.
  • Advising and coaching managers on people-related matters and supporting them in building effective and engaged teams.
  • Managing employee relations topics and ensuring consistent and fair application of HR policies and local employment legislation.
  • Supporting workforce planning, recruitment and talent development according to the site's operational needs.
  • Coordinating the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, salary reviews, objective setting and talent discussions.
  • Monitoring relevant HR indicators and identifying opportunities to improve employee engagement, retention and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensuring accurate HR administration in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Supporting organizational changes and contributing to a positive, pragmatic and performance-oriented workplace culture.
  • Maintaining strong proximity to employees and managers in a production environment.

International HR Projects - approx. 50%

Alongside your local responsibilities, you will work closely with the Group HR Director on HR projects covering several countries and entities.

Depending on Group priorities, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of Group HR policies, processes and tools.
  • Participate in international projects related to talent management, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, employee engagement or HR systems.
  • Help harmonize HR practices across countries while taking local requirements into consideration.
  • Support the development of Group-wide HR guidelines, frameworks and communication materials.
  • Coordinate with local HR contacts and managers across different countries to implement Group initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze HR data and prepare relevant dashboards, presentations and recommendations for Group management.
  • Contribute to organizational development and change management initiatives.
  • Share best practices across entities and help strengthen collaboration within the international HR community.
  • Act as a key support to the Group HR Director on ad hoc strategic and operational HR topics.

The Successful Applicant

You are an experienced and versatile HR professional who enjoys combining operational proximity with broader HR projects.

You ideally bring:

  • A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • Approximately 5-10 years of broad HR experience, ideally gained as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
  • Solid experience across the employee lifecycle and confidence in handling day-to-day HR topics independently.
  • Previous exposure to a manufacturing, industrial or operational environment would be a strong advantage.
  • Experience managing employee relations topics and advising managers on sensitive people matters.
  • An interest in both operational HR and the development of HR processes, tools and projects.
  • Previous experience working in an international and/or matrix organization.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate stakeholders across countries and functions.
  • A pragmatic, hands-on mindset and the ability to move comfortably between strategic discussions and operational topics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility to build trusted relationships with employees, managers and senior stakeholders.
  • A high degree of autonomy, flexibility and sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English and French
  • The ideal candidate enjoys being close to the business and employees while also looking beyond the local site. You are curious, collaborative and comfortable working in an evolving environment where you can contribute directly to shaping HR practices.

What's on Offer

This role offers a particularly attractive combination of local ownership and international exposure. You will have full responsibility for HR matters on a small production site, allowing you to remain close to the business and employees, while spending approximately half of your time on Group HR projects with an international scope.

Working directly with the Group HR Director, you will gain visibility across the organization and have the opportunity to influence the development of HR practices, processes and tools. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist or HR Business Partner looking for greater autonomy, broader international exposure and a role combining operational impact with strategic projects.
