Our client, a leading international private bank based in Geneva, is looking for an experienced Head of Securities Operations to lead a key team within its Operations division

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for securities transfer activities across traditional and alternative asset classes.
  • Oversee daily operations related to securities transfers, funds registrations, settlements, reconciliations, and asset servicing activities.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of transactions while maintaining a strong risk and control environment.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, performance monitoring, and implementation of best practices.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and KRIs to ensure efficient service delivery and risk mitigation.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, custodians, transfer agents, and external partners.
  • Support strategic initiatives, regulatory changes, and operational projects impacting the department.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture through coaching, mentoring, and staff development.



The Successful Applicant

Your Profile

  • Extensive experience in Securities Operations, Custody, Asset Servicing, Transfer Agency, Funds Operations, or related banking operations functions.
  • Proven management experience leading operational teams within a banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of securities transfers, custody services, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
  • Excellent understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements and managing operational change.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Swiss residency is mandatory.
