Our client is a medium-sized organization operating within the ENERGY manufacturing sector.

Job Description

  • Senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the financial strategy to support performance, growth, and compliance.
  • Oversee all finance activities including controlling, accounting, budgeting (OPEX/CAPEX), reporting, internal controls, and compliance with Swiss and international standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Act as a key business partner: monitor performance, drive cost optimisation, present results, manage stakeholders, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and develop the finance team, ensure efficient processes, and represent the organisation externally.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HEAD OF FINANCE should have:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent (or Swiss Federal diploma in Finance & Controlling).
  • Around 10 years of experience in a similar senior finance role, ideally within a corporate or international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss and international accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in French and English (German is a plus).
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
