Job Description

  • Design and implement SAP S/4HANA-based Manufacturing Execution processes, including integration with Production Planning (PP-PI), MES systems, line management systems, PI Historian, ATTP, and cross-functional areas such as Finance and Quality
  • Ensure solution designs meet business and user requirements, align with the target architecture and roadmap, are traceable and properly documented, comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, NFCM, P3, TPRM), and promote standardization and efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with IT experts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Data & Analytics, Integration) to ensure end-to-end solution consistency
  • Lead and facilitate fit-gap workshops to identify gaps, dependencies, and integration points, propose solutions, and provide effort estimations aligned with stakeholders
  • Ensure delivery of project work on time, within budget, meeting quality standards, and in line with release schedules
  • Ensure solutions are peer-reviewed, formally documented, and signed off by functional leads and Global Process Owners (GPOs)
  • Oversee and ensure high-quality solution testing
  • Promote a "keep the core clean" mindset by driving standardization, minimizing custom development, and enabling cost-effective delivery
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external security and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, IGM framework)
  • Foster close collaboration with business functions, deployment teams, and regional stakeholders by conducting regular workshops and incorporating operational feedback into solution design



The Successful Applicant



Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution, Production Planning, MES, or related domains
  • Proven experience in integrating SAP PP-PI, MES systems, and SAP EWM
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including Drug Substance and/or Packaging
  • Strong SAP expertise (S/4HANA preferred), with a solid understanding of system integration in complex landscapes and knowledge of regulatory environments (e.g., GMP)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience facilitating workshops and trainings
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Six Sigma or continuous improvement expertise
  • Project management experience (e.g., Agile, PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Advanced knowledge of GMP regulations
