Job Description

Reporting to a senior member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for driving facilities and utilities projects while ensuring alignment with long-term site strategy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating a portfolio of facilities and utilities projects (CAPEX), ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously, including critical shutdown activities and infrastructure upgrades
  • Acting as program lead, defining project roadmaps, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Overseeing engineering activities related to utilities (e.g. HVAC, compressed air, electrical systems, heating) and facilities infrastructure
  • Managing a team of technical experts and external partners, ensuring efficient collaboration and performance
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D to ensure smooth project execution and operational impact
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards (GMP, ISO, etc.), including documentation, risk analysis, and validation activities
  • Supporting audits and inspections from regulatory authorities
  • Monitoring project budgets, KPIs, and reporting progress to senior stakeholders
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and strong team collaboration



Team & environment
You will lead a small team of engineers and technicians and coordinate external consultants during key project phases. This role requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to build trust across departments.

The Successful Applicant

Education & experience

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management
  • At least 7 years of experience in industrial environments, ideally within regulated industries (pharmaceutical, medical devices, IVD or similar)
  • Proven experience managing facilities and utilities projects in a production environment
  • Experience working in GMP/ISO-regulated environments
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing external suppliers



Technical skills

  • Strong understanding of utilities systems (HVAC, electrical, compressed air, heating, etc.)
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies (e.g. HAZOP, SIL)
  • Experience in validation, documentation, and quality-driven environments
  • Solid project management capabilities in complex, international environments

  • Fluent English and French required
