Giving back to others is part of our culture. We live and work in the communities we serve, and we encourage all our people to get involved. We do a lot… and we’re proud of it.
‘We make a difference’ is one of our company values. Our people undertake all kinds of challenges to help raise money for charity and change people’s lives - including running marathons and organising bake sales and quizzes, to name just a few. Across our regions, we use our skills to give CV, career and interviewing advice to young and disadvantaged people and hold ‘suit drives’ to help unemployed people back to work. Everyone is encouraged to join in, and that includes our CEO who also serves on the Board of Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Celebrating our activities through our internal communication channels fosters creativity and generates ideas and engagement across all our regions. As a global corporation, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously and are constantly looking at ways to minimise and mitigate our environmental impact.
Supporting women in partnership with the association découvrir
The association découvrir helps qualified migrant women in their professional integration within the Swiss job market. Our consultants in Romandie share their knowledge by providing a program to them. The program includes interviews simulations, CV rewriting and coaching sessions.
Walking and Making a Difference for ELA
Being diagnosed with a leukodystrophy, an orphan genetic disease, changes the life of the patients and that of their relatives. The missions of ELA Association is to assist and support families affected by leukodystrophy, stimulate the development of research, raise public awareness and develop international activities. Our offices in Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich joined forces to make a difference and support the ELA foundation. One day a year, every step done by the employees of PageGroup collects CHF 0,01 for the Association. In 2019, we raised CHF 12’220.-, with the aim of positively impacting as many lives as possible.
Caritas – Donating clothes
Coming from the Latin term for charity (virtue), Caritas is one of our preferred charities as we believe the work they do for communities and individuals in need is so vital – everybody deserves to be properly clothed no matter their situation. We collect clothes and shoes across all our offices, with this year’s current total of over 300kgs exceeding all expectations.
Donating Blood
Giving blood saves lives and organizations like the Red Cross are constantly looking for donors. We give blood as we know that our efforts are directly contributing to helping everyone, because every single blood donation can make the difference between life and death.
Going Green – Recycling in all offices
We care about Switzerland. We care about the natural environment. We care about the future generations. That is why we decided to implement a recycling system in each and every PageGroup office in Switzerland.
