We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Team Lead (a) to oversee outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, team performance and operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position combines hands-on leadership, process improvement, KPI management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient, compliant and customer-focused warehouse operations. 100% onsite presence required.

Our client is an international organisation operating in a highly regulated industry with a strong focus on quality, operational excellence and continuous improvement near Bern. Due to ongoing business needs, they are looking for a motivated professional who can join the team quickly and support both day-to-day operations and strategic logistics initiatives.

Job Description

  • Lead daily warehouse and outbound logistics activities to ensure on-time customer shipments.
  • Plan, allocate and optimise resources based on workload, forecasts and business priorities.
  • Manage and develop a warehouse team (approx. 25 people) through coaching, training and performance management.
  • Coordinate inventory control activities, cycle counts and stock accuracy processes.
  • Monitor and report operational KPIs including service levels, productivity and forecast adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational procedures.
  • Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects across warehouse operations.
  • Support audits, documentation updates and quality management requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and improve processes.
  • Participate in logistics-related projects and support ERP system enhancements and implementation activities.
  • Act as deputy for logistics leadership functions when required.



The Successful Applicant

  • Professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
  • Leadership training and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience leading and developing operational teams.
  • Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, compliance requirements and process-driven operations; experience with GMP/GDP is a strong asset.
  • Good ERP knowledge and strong MS Office skills.
  • Fluent English is required; any other language can be an advantage
  • Proactive, organised and service-oriented personality.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
