Our client is an international company operating in the Medical Devices sector. As part of the continued development of its Supply Chain activities in Switzerland, the company is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join its Geneva-based team.

This position offers the opportunity to work across both Production Planning and Logistics, supporting two Swiss sites and acting as a key link between production, local teams and the Global Supply Chain organisation.

Job Description

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating production planning activities across two Swiss sites, while also managing the logistics and shipment of finished goods.

You will work closely with Production, Logistics and Global Supply Chain teams, ensuring that demand, production requirements, inventory and logistics activities are properly aligned.

Key responsibilitiesProduction Planning

  • Extract and analyse demand forecasts from SAP.
  • Maintain internal project requirements and local VSF data in SAP.
  • Align local demand with the Global Supply Chain organisation.
  • Review demand and MRP requirements in SAP.
  • Participate in weekly production scheduling meetings.
  • Create, edit and close production work orders.
  • Prepare and provide weekly reporting to the Global Supply Chain team in Frankfurt.
  • Maintain user manuals and planning documentation.
  • Maintain advanced Excel files, KPIs and reporting tools.
  • Maintain SAP MM & PP master data.



Logistics

  • Coordinate international transportation from Switzerland to EU destinations, including customs documentation.
  • Maintain SAP WM master data.
  • Adapt internal logistics activities according to production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with Production.
  • Lead weekly logistics meetings with local stock teams.
  • Support investigations related to Non-Conformities.
  • Lead Change Controls related to Logistics activities.
  • Conduct the annual review of Logistics pFMEA and SOPs.
  • Develop and maintain missing work instructions and operational procedures.



Digital / AI

  • Use Microsoft Copilot on a daily basis to support and optimise operational activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Sciences or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning and/or Logistics, ideally within a regulated industrial environment.
  • Strong experience with SAP, particularly MM/PP and ideally WM.
  • Good understanding of MRP, production planning, inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and an advanced level of Excel.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and coordinate with different stakeholders.
  • Structured, autonomous and solution-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong interest in using digital and AI tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Fluent in both English and French.
