Job Description

The Senior Statutory Consolidation Analyst will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will collaborate closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to coordinate, consolidate and report financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Reporting & Consolidation

  • Contribute to the quarterly consolidation process, according to IFRS standards, ensuring accuracy and timely completion and the drafting of the accounts and closing notes
  • Collect, analyse quarterly consolidation packages from subsidiaries and follow up open points
  • Manage balance sheet reviews
  • Ensuring compliance with group accounting policies, tax regulations, and local GAAP, including support for the conversion to IFRS



Financial Reporting Systems

  • HFM & EPM Administration as part of the closing process
  • HFM reporting structure and hierarchy
  • Assist in the implementation of a new consolidation system



Process Improvement and Optimization

  • Identify opportunities and drive recommendations to streamline the accounting processes to enhance reporting capabilities and improve efficiency and accuracy of financial data
  • Staying updated with the latest IFRS standards and adapting processes and SOPs accordingly
  • Initiating process improvements and streamlining reporting procedures
  • Participate in the updating of the group's accounting procedures and assist/train subsidiaries for their proper application
  • Update reporting procedures based on ongoing projects and training of the financial community

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Statutory Consolidation Analyst we are looking for will bring the following background and experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a corporate/group finance position
  • Qualified accountant with strong background in IFRS experience, accounting and consolidation
  • Ability to prepare and present to senior management
  • Solid knowledge of the Hyperion Smartview and HFM
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Business fluent in English, any further European language is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to structure your thoughts and derive action plans for your team to execute, as well as the ability to communicate efficiently across all staff and stakeholders' levels
  • Team & hands-on working style
  • Good organizational skills, autonomous and reliable
