Job Description



This role offers a broad HR mandate encompassing business partnering, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and regulatory compliance within a demanding and highly professional banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a small HR team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services across the organization.
  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior management on all people-related matters.
  • Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
  • Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, HR policies, and employment legislation.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits processes, including salary reviews, bonus cycles, and benchmarking activities.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss labor law, internal policies, and banking sector regulations.
  • Manage HR reporting, people analytics, and key HR metrics to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to a positive organizational culture and employee engagement agenda.
  • Lead or participate in HR transformation and process improvement projects where appropriate.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
  • HR certification (Brevet Fédéral RH, MAS, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8-10 years' progressive HR experience, including management responsibilities.
  • Prior experience within a private bank, wealth management institution, asset manager, or broader financial services environment is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on within a lean HR structure.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and advising senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Fluent in both French and English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
