Job Description

Our client, a leading international organization headquartered in Geneva, is seeking an SAP FI/CO Architect or Manager.
This role is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Finance and Controlling solutions across a complex global landscape. The successful candidate will act as the functional lead for the Record-to-Report.Solution Architecture & Process Design

  • Design and maintain end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes within SAP FI/CO.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders, including Accounting, Controlling, and Tax teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the organization's application architecture and global standards.
  • Safeguard the consistency, integrity, and reliability of SAP Finance solutions across related business streams, including:
    • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
    • Treasury
    • Legacy and integrated systems



Project Delivery & Leadership

  • Coordinate and mentor Business Analysts and functional resources involved in project delivery.
  • Lead key project activities, including:
    • Requirements gathering and process blueprinting
    • Solution design and proof-of-concept initiatives
    • SAP configuration and testing
    • Functional specifications for developments and enhancements
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination
    • Training and documentation
  • Evaluate, prioritize, challenge, or reject solution requests based on business value and architectural alignment.
  • Promote SAP best practices and template-driven approaches whenever possible.



Governance & Application Management

  • Define implementation timelines in collaboration with technical and development teams.
  • Oversee change management processes and approve production releases.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain the SAP Finance roadmap.
  • Support Application Management Services (AMS) teams in incident resolution and ongoing operational support.
  • Conduct impact assessments related to enhancements, integrations, cutovers, and data migration activities.
  • Ensure adherence to established governance, support, and change management procedures.
  • Monitor business processes and system performance to ensure operational continuity.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 10 years of SAP experience across implementation, rollouts, and support engagements.

  • Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAPFI/CO, including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
    • Controlling (CO)
    • Master Data Management
    • Financial closing and reporting processes
  • University degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
