Job Description

Your Responsibilities as Project Manager - Wireless SoC Development (semiconductor)

  • Lead end-to-end development programmes for low-power Wireless SoCs, from specification to production release
  • Define project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation and risk mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Hardware, RF, Analog, Digital, Firmware, Validation and Product Management
  • Ensure successful execution of ASIC/SoC development milestones while balancing quality, cost and delivery
  • Drive collaboration between internal engineering teams, manufacturing, suppliers, IP vendors and semiconductor foundries
  • Monitor technical risks and resolve project issues to maintain programme objectives
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards covering RF certification, cybersecurity, functional safety and regulated markets
  • Report programme progress and key performance indicators to senior management

The Successful Applicant

Your Profile as a Project Manager - Wireless SoC Development (semiconductor)

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience managing semiconductor, ASIC or embedded systems development projects
  • Proven experience delivering ASIC or Wireless SoC development programmes
  • Good understanding of semiconductor development flows, silicon lifecycle and low-power design methodologies
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Thread or similar protocols
  • Familiarity with RF concepts, product certification and validation processes
  • Experience working within Automotive (ISO 26262), Medical or other highly regulated industries is a strong advantage
  • Exposure to IoT cybersecurity requirements is considered a plus
  • PMP, Agile or equivalent Project Management certification is desirable
