Our client is seeking a junior-level Mechanical Drafter/Designer to support the clean-up, update, and preparation of technical drawings and documentation. This is an operational drafting position, focused on execution and quality.

Job Description

  • Produce, update, and finalize 2D/3D drawings for tubes, kits, connectors, labels, and packaging.
  • Use specific software to manage and clean up existing mechanical and micro‑mechanical files.
  • Ensure compliance with internal drafting standards and documentation requirements.
  • Manage DHF (Design History File) elements within PLM systems.
  • Work with PDM tools to upload, version, and classify design files.
  • Support V&V test documentation by providing accurate drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare technical documentation packages for manufacturing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting and document-management processes.
  • Execute assigned drafting tasks with rigor and attention to detail (no project conception involved).



The Successful Applicant

  • CFC or ES diploma in mechanics or design
  • First experience or strong academic exposure to SolidWorks drafting.
  • Understanding of PLM systems and DHF documentation.
  • Experience with, or interest in learning, PDM tools (SAP PDM is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of V&V processes is an advantage.
  • Interest in mechanical and micro‑mechanical components.
  • Experience in health & life‑sciences is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality documentation.
  • Ability to work within structured workflows and follow established procedures.
  • Proactive, organized, and motivated to grow in a technical drafting role.
  • Comfortable in an operational, execution-focused position without project conception responsibilities.
