About Our Client

Our client is an international company located in Fribourg.

You will have 1 day of remote working per week.

Job Description

  • Gather business requirements and identify opportunities for business intelligence and automation across finance functions (Accounts Payable, Treasury, Financial Planning, and Internal Controls)
  • Design, optimize, and maintain existing solutions (BI and automation), ensuring seamless integration within the organization's ecosystem and compliance with relevant requirements
  • Define and enforce best practices for data management, solution development, and secure deployment
  • Develop comprehensive documentation to support the sustainability of business processes and data analysis/automation initiatives
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable solutions
  • Leverage and implement the latest technologies and tools in collaboration with finance, data, and IT teams
  • Present deliverables and actively contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within broader internal communities
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant



Education, Experience and Core Competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Relevant professional experience in a similar role, including at least 5 years in transformation or change-driven environments, ideally within finance and international/matrix organizations
  • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects with measurable business impact through data analysis and automation
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Looker
  • Hands-on expertise in data modeling, data transformation, and data cleansing (e.g., SQL, Power Query), as well as familiarity with programming concepts and algorithms
  • Practical experience with automation tools such as Power Automate and/or UiPath
  • Exposure to data management platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft SQL Server is considered an asset
  • Prior experience in finance within an industrial or manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Fluent in English
