Job Description

As a member of the management team and a business partner to the various departments, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of financial information and the reliability of financial processes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all financial and operational controlling activities.
  • Producing and analysing key performance indicators to support decision-making.
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Supporting senior management in monitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Supervising the accounting team and ensuring the quality of financial closings, as well as compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
  • Managing relationships with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of processes, internal controls, and management reporting tools.
  • Contributing to strategic discussions and cross-functional business projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a value-added controlling role (Head of Controlling, Senior Controller, Finance Manager, or equivalent).
  • Successful experience managing or overseeing an accounting team or department.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for management.
  • Natural leadership skills, a strong sense of ownership, and a pragmatic approach.
  • Fluent in both English and French, written and spoken.
