To strengthen its internal monitoring, evaluation and analytical functions, the organisation is seeking an Associate Specialist, Monitoring, Evaluation & Country Analysis (MECA) for a temporary assignment.Job DescriptionReporting to senior technical leadership, the Associate Specialist will support the revision, improvement and coordination of measurement frameworks, performance tools and analytical processes used across the organisation. The role involves extensive collaboration with thematic experts, operational teams, systems teams and regional support units.Key Responsibilities1. Revision of measurement frameworks & guidance documentsCollect and consolidate technical feedback from internal departments.Support updates of thematic frameworks and ensure alignment across all program areas.Document changes, coordinate translations, and prepare materials for internal dissemination.Ensure consistency and accuracy of indicator guidance and reference documents.2. Enhancement of performance monitoring toolsGather inputs from advisors and monitoring specialists.Ensure harmonisation with other templates and organisational systems.Update guidance notes and verify reference data accuracy.Coordinate with systems teams to incorporate changes in digital tools.3. Systems & tools optimisationSupport definition of business requirements for integrated monitoring solutions.Collaborate with IT, operations and finance teams to align processes.Contribute to troubleshooting, data validation activities and continuous system improvement.Conduct periodic internal data quality checks and support the use of online reporting tools.4. Quality assurance coordinationSupport the planning, documentation and follow‑up of quality review processes.Consolidate findings and prepare summary reports and presentations.Assist with early‑engagement processes with priority countries or portfolios.5.
