About Our Client

Our client is a leading international organisation operating in a highly regulated industrial sector. Due to a maternity leave, we are seeking an experienced legal professional for a fixed-term assignment of approximately one year, with a latest start between October and November 2026.

Job Description

  • Advise on sustainability, HSE, human rights and responsible business programmes.
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives and legal risk management activities.
  • Monitor European legislative and regulatory developments and assess business impact.
  • Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
  • Provide employment law advice on contracts, labour relations and HR matters.
  • Support corporate affairs and communications teams on legal and reputational topics.
  • Assist stakeholders with policy development, governance and implementation projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Lawyer with bar admission (ideal); LL.M. or equivalent viewed favourably.
  • Approximately 3-5 years' post-qualification experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house legal function.
  • Exposure to several of the following areas: sustainability, HSE, human rights, employment law, commercial contracts and regulatory compliance.
  • Fluent English plus professional proficiency in German or French; Spanish is advantageous.
  • Experience in industrial, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure or other regulated sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Collaborative stakeholder manager with a pragmatic commercial mindset.
  • Interest in leveraging technology and AI tools to improve efficiency.
