Our client is an international organization based in Geneva.

Job Description

The position requires to handle the following:

  • - Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team
  • - Set priorities, KPIs, and performance standards
  • - Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing
  • - Oversee vendor payments (including foreign currency wires)
  • - Monitor AP ageing and manage payment cycles
  • - Supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
  • - Review AP-related balance sheet reconciliations
  • - Ensure compliance with policies (expenses, credit cards, controls)
  • - Drive process improvements and system enhancements
  • - Support and lead cross-functional projects (Finance, IT, Procurement)



The Successful Applicant

The applicants are expected to present the following:

  • - Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • - Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Swiss Brevet
  • - Around 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or similar
  • - Proven experience managing and developing teams
  • - Strong ERP and systems experience
  • - Experience in process improvement or finance transformation is a plus
  • - English working language, French is a plus
