We are seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Operations Manager to oversee payroll, compensation and benefits administration within a complex and multicultural environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across payroll and HR administration processes while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Job Description

Payroll Management

  • Lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee payroll calendars, controls, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
  • Review and validate payroll outputs prepared by internal teams and external providers.
  • Monitor payroll compliance and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce payroll-related reporting and support budgeting and financial reconciliation activities.

Compensation & Benefits Administration

  • Oversee the administration of compensation, benefits and leave management processes.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee compensation and benefits data.
  • Support the implementation of new compensation and benefits initiatives, policies and programs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on payroll and compensation-related matters.

Process Improvement & HR Projects

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across payroll and HR operations.
  • Contribute to HR systems enhancements and transformation projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of new policies and operational frameworks.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of HR Operations professionals.
  • Manage relationships with external payroll and benefits providers.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance and other business stakeholders.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex payroll and benefits-related matter

The Successful Applicant

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • Significant experience in payroll, compensation & benefits and HR operations.
  • Proven experience managing payroll processes in a complex international environment.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Previous people management experience is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of payroll governance and controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Continuous improvement and service-oriented mindset.
