Our client is a large organization operating within the Not For Profit sector. They are dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration on a global scale.

The role sits within a collaborative content production team supporting multilingual activities.The Editing & Content Processing team plays a key back‑office role, preparing documents from a technical and structural perspective prior to editorial review.

This role is strictly focused on content processing.

You will receive documents mainly in XML format (initially originating from Word and already converted) and will be responsible for cleaning, validating and structuring the files, ensuring they are technically sound before being passed on to Editors.

👉 No content creation. No editorial decision‑making.

  • Process content from the perspective of content structure and layout (text, associated styling or markup, and graphical elements) in both XML-based (OSD) and Word-based workflows
  • Provide consistent, stable, and harmonized semantically rich content for files for ballot, editing and publication
  • Actively contribute to the development and testing of XML tools, such as macros, import routines and XSLT
  • Perform quality control of the converted Word-based standards to XML-based documents, document tagging and content errors
  • Contribute to the harmonization of working practices for production of content between MS Word and XML to facilitate the transition from an MS Word-based workflow to an XML-based workflow

Must‑Have Technical Skills



  • Experience In Editing, correcting documents
  • Advanced expertise in XML (mandatory)
  • Very advanced Microsoft Word skills (mandatory)
  • Strong experience in content editing, structured documentation, or digital publishing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (C1 level required), C1 in French is ideal

  • Strong attention to detail, layout and document structure
  • Ability to read, verify and correct XML (no development expected)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word (advanced formatting; wildcards, VBA a plus)
  • Comfortable working in highly process‑driven environments
  • Methodical, reliable, and detail‑focused mindset

Sonstige Informationen
