The Portfolio Manager will play a central role in supporting and servicing client portfolios on a day-to-day basis. Acting as a key point of contact for clients and counterparties, the successful candidate will ensure that portfolio-related matters are executed efficiently, accurately, and with the highest standards of professionalism. This is an operational role.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Coverage & Relationship Management

  • Participate in and prepare for client meetings, including the preparation of supporting materials, portfolio reviews, and presentations.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and professional responses to enquiries and requests.
  • Communicate portfolio updates, investment decisions, and performance information clearly and effectively.
  • Ensure all client actions and follow-up items are tracked and completed efficiently.



Portfolio Management & Implementation

  • Assist in the management and monitoring of client portfolios in line with investment objectives, risk profiles, and liquidity requirements.
  • Prepare portfolio rebalancing recommendations and implementation proposals.
  • Monitor portfolio exposures, cash balances, and asset allocations across multiple asset classes.
  • Work closely with senior investment professionals to support portfolio construction and ongoing portfolio management activities.



Trade Execution & Operational Oversight

  • Prepare and coordinate trade instructions with banks, custodians, and external providers.
  • Monitor the execution process and ensure transactions are completed accurately and within established procedures.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Maintain high standards of operational accuracy and compliance with internal controls and approval processes.



Reporting & Data Management

  • Review portfolio reporting data and validate the accuracy of holdings, valuations, and performance information.
  • Coordinate with custodians, administrators, and service providers to resolve discrepancies and data issues.
  • Prepare high-quality client reports, presentations, and investment updates.
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive portfolio records across both public and private investments.



Investment Support

  • Conduct portfolio-related analysis and assist with monitoring investment positions across asset classes.
  • Contribute to investment research, manager reviews, and due diligence efforts as required.
  • Support the investment team with ad hoc analyses relevant to client portfolios and investment opportunities.



Profil recherché

We are seeking an individual who combines professionalism, intellectual curiosity, strong execution skills, and a genuine commitment to client service.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience within a family office, private bank, wealth management firm, external asset manager, or investment advisory environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a willingness to take responsibility for outcomes and see tasks through to completion.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Sound understanding of portfolio management principles and financial markets.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with investment and reporting data.
  • Experience using Bloomberg and other financial market tools.
  • Familiarity with portfolio reporting systems such as QPLIX, DAPM, or similar platforms would be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are an asset.
  • CFA Level I completed or progression within the CFA Program would be viewed favourably.
