Key responsabilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements related to trading, logistics, and business operations.
  • Provide day-to-day legal support to commercial, operations, and finance teams on contractual and regulatory matters.
  • Assist with compliance, KYC, and onboarding procedures to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Support the management of contractual disputes, insurance claims, and operational issues arising from trading activities.
  • Conduct legal research and regulatory monitoring to support risk management and business decision-making.

Anforderungsprofil

Successful candidate:

  • Master's degree in Law from a reputable university, ideally with a focus on International Trade Law, Maritime Law, Commercial Law, or related disciplines.
  • < 2 year's of relevant professional experience gained within a commodity trading company, shipping organization, or a law firm advising clients in the commodities sector.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential, additional languages are considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders across different functions and jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of performing in a demanding and fast-moving environment.
