Zurich/Geneva, 22 June 2023. According to the latest Talent Trends 2023 study from Michael Page, job seekers’ expectations, about the time taken to find a new job, have fallen. Currently, 63% of job seekers expect to find a new job within six months compared with 72% the last time the measure was taken in Q1 2021, just before Switzerland’s Corona lockdown measures were lifted.
According to Yannick Coulange, Managing Director, PageGroup Switzerland, “Many employers are increasing recruitment requirements to include, for example, candidates undertaking projects and presentations in addition to extensive psychological, aptitude and other tests or interviews. This extends the recruitment process and many talented candidates – who know they are in demand – often do not proceed further.”
