Zurich, Wednesday, 27 March 2019. According to the Michael Page Swiss Job Index, advertised jobs showed a yearly growth of +20.9% across Switzerland (March 2018 – March 2019). Monthly growth (February – March 2019) in advertised jobs amounted to +1.5%. The German speaking region, which accounts for 9 out of 10 advertised jobs, led the way with a monthly growth of +2.2%. The level of advertised jobs in Swiss Romande declined by -2.6% in the same period.
Industrial planning and purchasing roles showed the highest monthly growth followed by credit specialists, IT support, export specialists and scientists.

The Central and East regions showed the highest regional growth +3.9% and +3.8% monthly growth respectively. All regions recorded double-digit year-on-year growth.
