Zurich, Wednesday, 24 April 2019. According to the Michael Page Swiss Job Index, advertised jobs showed a yearly growth of +18.9% across Switzerland (April 2018 – April 2019). Monthly growth (March – April 2019) in advertised jobs remained steady at 0.1%. The Swiss Romande led the way with a monthly growth of +8.1%. The German, speaking region, which accounts for 9 out of 10 advertised jobs, declined by -1.1% in the same period.
Demand was especially strong for Logistics and Inventory Planners (+13.9%), banking specialists (12.2%) and analysts (+9.7%). Export and IT Security specialists, also experienced strong demand with +7.5% and 7.0% respective monthly growth.
