Swiss Romande leads in Advertised Jobs with +6.6% Growth

Zurich, Tuesday, 26 June 2018. According to the Michael Page Swiss Job Index, the Swiss Romande led the growth in advertised jobs with a monthly growth of +6.6% (May 2018 - June 2018). Monthly advertised jobs grew in the German speaking region by +1.6%. Across Switzerland monthly growth was +2.2% with year-on-year growth at +10.2% (June 2017 – June 2018), ahead of the average growth over the last 3 years of +8.9%, for the same period.

“We’ve seen significant growth in the first half of 2018”, said Nicolai Mikkelsen, Executive Director, Michael Page, “Demand is especially strong for technical specialists across all functions including transport and logistics, IT, banking and financial control functions”.
