About Our Client

Our client, an internationally renowned Pharmaceutical company is recruiting. On its behalf we are now looking for a Warehouse Operator (m/f/d) available immediately for Solothurn area, to join an international team for the next 12 months.

Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for inventory management, shipping, handling GMP items, and supporting automation and manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines, by carrying out the following task area:

  • Receives GMP items, verifies count, vendor details, and expiration date, then prints barcodes.
  • Prepares shipments (binding, picking, using powered trucks) and updates ERP daily.
  • Works with other teams to support operations.
  • Assists with manufacturing prep and automation systems (AGVs, Swisslog).
  • Prepares shipping documents and helps organize shipments.
  • Completes all required department and GXP training.
  • Handles GMP requests like QC sampling and updates records.
  • Packs and ships finished products as per SOPs.
  • Receives and processes drug substances from manufacturing.
  • Performs inventory cycle counts.
  • Maintains warehouse cleanliness, safety, and reports issues in the EHS system.

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:

  • Successfully completed apprenticeship in warehouse/logistics
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
  • Understanding of GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and compliance standards.
  • Solid English skills
  • Valid forklift license
  • ADR/IATA certification for handling dangerous goods
  • Proficient in Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to strictly follow procedures.
  • Subject matter expert in all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
