Job Description

  • Design packaging molds (pilot & production) ensuring optimal steel dimensions and cycle times
  • Lead core projects focused on mold performance, cost efficiency, and technical innovation
  • Convince internal experts and stakeholders on design choices through technical justification
  • Prepare detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and optimize designs
  • Stay informed on new technologies and best practices in mold design

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Design
  • 5+ years of experience in mold design for packaging or similar industries
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of mold construction and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with technical experts
  • Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment
