Job Description

As testing specialist (a) you will be responsible for evaluating and testing materials to ensure they meet quality standards and performance requirements:

  • System Architecture: Design and implement a robust testing management system tailored to a key internal initiative, ensuring data is searchable, scalable, and actionable.
  • Lab Management: Lead the execution of physical lab tests (mechanical and durability) to ensure every prototype meets rigorous performance standards.
  • End-to-End Documentation: Own the full lifecycle of product testing documentation-from initial test protocols to final validation reports.
  • Issue Ownership: Act as the primary point of communication for testing failures or anomalies. You won't just report issues; you'll help diagnose them and communicate risks clearly to design and development stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Coordinate the flow of prototypes through the testing pipeline, ensuring deadlines are met for fast-paced launch cycles.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this position you bring:

  • A relevant educational background in (sports) engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with materials testing techniques and equipment, as well as respective software.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Experience in the FMCG(Sports Apparel) sector is advantageous.
