About Our Client

You will be reporting to the director of finance and the site leader and will support an operational manufacturing plant of a biotech company. This role requires self-motivation, autonomy, and the ability to take initiative.

Job Description

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes (e.g. tracking of monthly performance, variance analysis, risk identification, communication to stakeholders)
  • Assist with financial closures and ensure accurate classification of costs (e.g. month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing)
  • Oversee capital expenditure process (e.g. month-end accruals, forecasts)
  • Manage financial aspects of vendor relationships (e.g. monitor expenditures, ensure compliance with regulations)

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor`s degree in Accounting (or similar)
  • At least five years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Experience in the pharma/biotech industry
  • Strong familiarity with US Gaap and SOX compliance
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Business Objects and Hyperion
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to tackle complex issues independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions
  • Effective communication and collaboration
