This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring that all leased properties, as well as the team, are managed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with the company's operational and business goals.

Job Description

Property & Space Management

  • Oversee the management and optimization of leased properties throughout Switzerland
  • Lead initiatives related to space planning, design improvements, and site expansion
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors on workplace construction and refurbishment projects
  • Support negotiations for leases, renewals, acquisitions, and disposals
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of facilities layouts, occupancy, and assets



Vendor & Contract Management

  • Develop and manage service contracts for building operations
  • Oversee vendor performance across cleaning, security, and specialist services
  • Ensure adherence to service-level agreements and compliance standards
  • Conduct vendor reviews and initiate RFP processes where required



Facilities Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all sites, including maintenance and workplace safety
  • Manage emergency repairs and lead office improvement projects
  • Guarantee compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate safety drills, audits, and emergency response plans



Financial Management

  • Create and manage budgets related to maintenance, renovations, and external services
  • Monitor and analyze utility usage for cost optimization and sustainability initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in facilities and real estate management
  • Demonstrated expertise in lease negotiation, contract management, and property operations
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, workplace safety standards, and maintenance best practices
  • Proficient in facility management tools (e.g., AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Leadership experience managing internal teams and external partners
  • Proven ability to work with senior leadership to drive efficiency and excellence
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
