As a key player in the finance department, you will contribute to the company's mission by providing financial insights and enabling strategic decision-making.Monthly Financial Reporting, analysis and consolidation Lead the monthly accounting close process, working closely with finance internationally to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingReview the affiliate submissions, analyse financial trends, variances, and performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity or concern and provide recommendations for improvement to finance leadsConduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.HFM Administration as part of the closing processEnsure that the HFM structure is updated to meet reporting needsAssist in the implementation of the new consolidation systemStatutory Reporting & Consolidation Contribute to the quarterly consolidation process, according to IFRS standards, ensuring accuracy and timely completion and the drafting of the accounts and closing notesCollect, analyse quarterly consolidation packages from subsidiaries and follow up open pointsManage balance sheet reviewsEnsuring compliance with Group accounting policies, tax regulations, and local GAAP, including support for the conversion to IFRSProcess Improvement and Optimization Identify opportunities and drive recommendations to streamline the accounting processes to enhance reporting capabilities and improve efficiency and accuracy of financial data.Staying updated with the latest IFRS standards and adapting processes and SOPs accordinglyInitiating process improvements and streamlining reporting proceduresParticipate in the updating of the group's accounting procedures and assist/train subsidiaries for their proper application.Update reporting procedures based on ongoing projects (e.g. cost per function) and training of the financial community.The Successful Applicant7+ years of experience in a corporate/group finance positionQualified accountant with strong background in IFRS experience, Accounting and ConsolidationSolid knowledge of the Hyperion and HFM, SAP knowledge is a plusAdvanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsBusiness fluent in English, any further European language is an assetStrong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial informationExcellent communication skills with the ability to structure your thoughts and drive action plans for your team to execute, as well as the ability to communicate efficiently across all staff and stakeholders' levelsTeam & Hands-On working style; Good organizational skills, autonomous and reliableWhat's on OfferHighly dynamic environment with lots of projectsCompetitive package including bonus & benefitsFlexible working environment (remote work 2 days per week)Quote job refJN-122025-6898688Job summaryJob FunctionAccounting, Audit & Advisory, Tax and TreasurySpecialisationFinancial Account & ConsolidationIndustryIndustrial / ManufacturingLocationGenevaContract TypePermanentJob ReferenceJN-122025-6898688Job NatureHome Office
