About Our Client
Our client is a multinational company with their HQ based in Zurich Area. The company is an international player in Life Science.
Job Description
- Maintaining the General Ledger of the assigned companies in SAP
- Conducting all periodical closes (monthly, annual) according to IFRS
- Analysis of the monthly close incl. variance analysis
- Processing the accounts-payable and accounts-receivable accounting and ensuring an efficient creditor and debtor management
- Preparing periodic VAT declarations (CH, DE, AT) and Intrastat reports
- Working together with the treasury manager and cost center owners
- Prepare year-end income tax return
- Contact person for our internal and external auditors
- Supporting the team in checking travel expenses and booking of vendor invoices.
- Pro-active monitoring and controlling of outstanding invoices and critical accounts
- Performing intercompany reconciliations
- Reporting the financial results in our Group reporting system Cognos
The Successful Applicant
- Education in Finance and Accounting: eidgenössischer Fachausweis in Finanz- und Rechnungswesen is a must
- Proven work experience in preparing financial closes and profound knowledge of SAP R3 (FI/CO) are must have requirements for this role
- Fluent in German and English
- Very good analytical skills / Accurate, detail and deadline-oriented
- Very good team player with pro-active mindset
- Previous Cognos and SAP BW experience is a plus
