As the business continues to grow, they are now looking to appoint a Medical Director to act as a medical and scientific advisor within their swiss network.This is a highly visible role, combining strategic leadership with hands-on medical affairs activity in a lean and agile environment.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities of the Medical DirectorMedical & scientific leadershipProvide strategic medical input into company objectives, brand planning, clinical development and market access activitiesAct as the medical expert for internal teams and external stakeholdersSupport product launches through advisory boards, scientific meetings and medical eventsEnsure all promotional and non-promotional materials are compliant with Swissmedic and international regulations and aligned with current scientific knowledgeRegulatory & complianceProvide medical input into regulatory submissions and interactions with health authoritiesTranslate clinical data into clear, relevant and compliant key messages, balancing scientific integrity with commercial objectivesField engagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, HCPs and patient advocacy groupsConduct field visits to hospitals, clinics and congresses to gather insights and provide scientific supportClinical reserch & data generationFacilitate Invstigator-Initiated Studies and Real-World Evidence generationMonitor scientific literature and the competitive landscapeMedical trainingDeliver disease and product training to internal teams, including sales and marketingReview and approve educational materials for scientific accuracy and complianceRespond to medical information requests from healthcare professionalsThe Successful ApplicantAbout youMedical degree (MD), with further education or specialisation in gynaecology or internal medicineIdeally 3-5 years' experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industryStrong understanding of the Swiss healthcare system and regulatory environmentConfident using Microsoft tools and scientific literature databases (e.g. PubMed, Cochrane Library)Fluent in German and English; French is an advantageRole open to specialist from the all DACH region.
