The role is a permanent position supporting the launch of an exciting new sterile drug product facility, located in modern offices within a highly livable cross-border region.

Job Description

The Master Data Specialist (m/f/d) manages critical data processes across three locations and contributes to a collaborative team that drives innovation through precise, high-quality data management, by carrying out the following task area:

  • Acts as the autonomous owner of SAP R/3 Master Data setup for multiple filling lines, providing global and local support in a fast-growing environment
  • Designs, maintains, and updates BOMs, recipes, resources, COA profiles, inspection plans, and inspection characteristics within SAP
  • Continuously improves master data processes and ensures SOPs related to new part setup, BOM creation, and recipe maintenance are current and user-friendly
  • Creates, maintains, and validates material master data and part codes in SAP
  • Manages and implements required master data changes within the SAP system
  • Independently prepares and maintains master data governance documentation and process descriptions
  • Tracks master data KPIs and ensures timely corrective and improvement actions

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the role, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Successfully completed bachelor's and/or master's degree in supply chain management or a related field
  • APICS and/or CPIM certification is an advantage
  • Solid work experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment (e.g., Work Preparation / AVOR)
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working in a GMP-regulated environment (mandatory)
  • Strong experience with Master Data (material and production data) using SAP R/3 or S/4HANA, as well as MS Office
  • Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken)
  • Able to work effectively in project-based settings and adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Willing to challenge existing processes and motivated to identify and implement improvements
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to create governance documents and clear process descriptions
